Dissertation: Developed pain intensity estimation tool to objectively assess patients’ pain levels by leveraging data science and machine learning algorithms (physiological measures collection, signal processing).

Created graph network-based automated literature review method on 300k articles to gain insights from the vast literature, infer knowledge map and emerging trends in the pain research literature.

Applied and taught state-of-the-art data mining techniques for classification, prediction, clustering, recommendation systems, and complex data exploration mentored more than 250 students.

Created agent-based network models for COVID-19, opioid, and vaping epidemics to analyze spread trajectories and parameter estimations with a 1% error using particle swarm optimization.

Developed predictive models (logistic & linear regression) for risk of readmission and length of stay of high-risk patients with approximately 96% accuracy for Mount Auburn Hospital.
